How to Go Zero Waste in Your Apartment

Rolling Green Apartments Blog, Milford, MA Going Zero Waste means more than simply recycling a plastic bottle. Join us as we strive to make our community a zero waste zone.

We recently read an article by Green Matters, a lifestyle media company dedicated to bringing awareness to global issues and solutions. The article focused on an interesting topic: Wales has officially pledged to become a “zero waste” nation by the year 2050. Hailed as “the second-best nation in the world for households that properly recycle waste”, Wales has a staggering 63.8% recycling rate for municipal solid waste.

Reading this article made us think about how much we waste in our country and how we can easily change that. This month, we’re proposing a challenge for all of our residents at Rolling Green Apartments in Milford, MA: Make May a Zero Waste Month. Have a friend you think would like to join in on the challenge? Share this blog post with them. Better yet, post it on social media so that all of your friends can participate — no matter where they are from.
